Cross country team joins Avon Lake Sports Hall of Fame

The 1994 Avon Lake boys cross country team had a pair of all-conference runners and finished in the top 10 at the state meet to earn a spot in Avon Lake High Athletic Hall of Fame’s Class of 2017.

The team featured seven seniors.

A Rocky River middle schooler is having quite the European vacation. Jacob Bergin is a member of a U.S. national youth soccer team currently playing in a prestigious tournament in Spain.
