Swing over to the 25th annual North Ridgeville Big Band concert

NORTH RIDGEVILLE – Polish your boogying shoes for the annual Big Band Concert and Dance benefitting older adults in Lorain County on Sept. 20.

The proceeds from this event, which will be held at the Emerald Event Center in Avon, will go directly to programs of the North Ridgeville Office for Older Adults (Senior Center).  These programs include transportation, supportive services, Meals-On-Wheels and socialization/activities.

“In the past we have had 300 to 400 seniors throughout our area look forward to this event each fall,” said Rita Price, North Ridgeville Senior Center Director.  “It’s like their Senior Prom. The Dan Zola Orchestra will be performing wonderful music of the big bands this year for everyone’s dancing and listening pleasure.”

Cardinal Care Management  is sponsoring the event.  Table sponsorships are available.

Music begins at 7 p.m. and the band plays until 10 p.m.  An opportunity to win door prizes from local sponsors will be available.  Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
