North Ridgeville Senior Center bus trip planned

NORTH RIDGEVILLE – North Ridgeville Heart & Sole has teamed up with the North Ridgeville Senior Center and the Lorain County Metro Parks to provide a fun afternoon bus trip to visit our local North Ridgeville produce stands.  The bus will leave from the Senior Center, 7327 Avon Belden Rd, on Thursday, Aug. 24, at about 11:45 a.m. (right after the Senior Center’s ladies’ brunch) and return about 1:45 p.m.  The trip, which is free and open to any older adult, will visit the following produce stands then make a stop at Sandy Ridge Reservation:

Gerhart’s Garden
Butternut Farms
Willie’s Farm Market (Big Blue Barn)
The Little Red Barn (temporarily re-located on Center Ridge Road)

There will be recipe tasting prior to departure and a Heart & Sole “Produce Stand Buck” given at each stop to use towards purchases. Individuals will meet at the Senior Center at 11:30 a.m.
