Officials ‘move mountains’ to fight addiction

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) held a downtown Cleveland press conference recently, urging legislators and constituents to oppose the elimination of Ohio’s Medicaid expansion or any future cuts to Medicaid, which would directly impact those struggling with addiction.

Lend a hand in ensuring kids stay fed throughout the summer

A street hockey tournament several years in the making is now an opportunity for charitable giving. Last year Avon Lake’s Shoremen hockey players collected over $150 for Community Resource Services (CRS), and this year the players donated over 50 pounds of canned goods to CRS. Sheffield Lake gets anonymous $20K donation
