Avon – Duck Tape cars, clothes and creatures. Yes, it’s time again for the always-popular Duck Tape Festival — A Father’s Day weekend tradition.

This year’s theme is “Circus Spectacular.”

The free festival will once again take place at Avon’s Veterans Memorial Park, 3701 Veterans Memorial Parkway from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. June 16; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. June 17 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 18.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. June 17.

New this year will be a “Magnificent Maker” creation station, led by University of Cincinnati fine arts graduate Jake Brinkmann, where attendees can take a break from rides and refreshments to make Duck-Tape-themed crafts.

Bands and DJs will be taking over the festival beer tent throughout the weekend, with the annual fashion show set to take place a little after the parade, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Grand Prize of a Cedar Point Amusement Park gift pack includes a two-night stay for four at Cedar Point Express Hotel, four amusement park admission tickets, four one-time Fast Passes and four Cedar Point Shores admission passes.

Show up with a minimum of two articles of clothing made entirely out of Duck Tape (or one article of clothing and one accessory) to enter.

Every participant will receive a $5 voucher for Duck Tape swag.
