On Nov. 22 Sheffield Lake City Council unanimously suspended its three reading rule in order to approve two ordinances on first readings.

Many homeowners yet to submit to sewer inspection

More than 1,700 Avon Lake residents have had their homes inspected to determine whether or not sewer laterals must be separated.

This leaves about 900 homeowners who’ve yet to submit to an inspection. That number is down from the 1,300 who had yet to submit to inspections as of June 2016.

City receives $52,000 grant to rehab, reconfigure South Central Park tennis courts

The city’s parks and recreation department will continue to upgrade the city’s parks next year when it resurfaces the tennis courts at South Central Park.
