Avon teacher to bike across country on fundraising mission

Avon Middle School teacher Tim Wearsch will drive out to California the day after school lets out. A few days later, on June 5, he will leave the Santa Monica Pier by bike and travel 3,100 miles in 31 days to Washington, D.C.

After three meetings safety committee produces legislation to regulate food trucks

It took three separate meetings, but the North Ridgeville City Council’s safety committee finally put together a piece of proposed legislation to regulate food trucks that want to set up shop within city limits.

The committee put the finishing touches on the proposed legislation during a mid-morning May 12 committee meeting.
